The Business Community has been invited to an update on the the Vieux Fort Water Supply Redevelopment Project. The (PMU) / WASCO Inc. is responsible for the implementation of the Vieux Water Supply Redevelopment Project, which funded by the Caribbean Development Bank and the Government of Saint Lucia.

Anticipated outcomes of the Project is improved efficiency, reliability, climate resilience and sustainability of the supply of potable water in Vieux Fort and its environs by December 2023.  The Project is at an advanced stage of implementation and at this juncture, the PMU continues to create forums which will provide stakeholders with  updates on the Project’s achievements and activities.

The Virtual  forum is scheduled for Friday May 13th from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and will provide:

• Overview of the Vieux Fort Water Supply Redevelopment Project.
• Role of the Community Liaison Officer.
• Disclosure of the Project Specific Grievance Redress Mechanism.

• The Sustainable Use and Management of Water Resources
