I want to commend the chamber of commerce for initiating in 2010  the St Lucia customized welding certification program sponsored by the European Union. In collaboration with Sir Arthur Lewis Community College conducted by Metal Industries Company Ltd. (MIC) From Trinidad. Which allowed 10 members of our team to participate in a 6 weeks work shop in welding level 2 (grade 2) at the end of which we were certified and coded. For me, this raised the level of competency amongst our team and the country at large.

My affiliation with the Chamber has exceeded my expectations – from virtual training events that have added value to my business, to affording me the avenue to volunteer and share expertise with the wider business community. There is so much more that a Chamber membership brings than any one review can cover. My membership definitely works for me, and I am certain it can work for every business in Saint Lucia. Being a member of the Saint Lucia Chamber of Commerce has proven to be a great privilege, as young and inspiring female entrepreneur.  The opportunity to network with key decision makers of other organizations, access to informative workshops at discounted rates and keeping informed about the business environment in Saint Lucia has been paramount for me.

The power of networking is so well-established, that it is no surprise its critical role in bringing people together for a common cause, is recognized by the UNDP, in developing robust national Quality Infrastructures.
