Global Entrepreneurship Week 2023, hosted by the St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, came to a successful conclusion on Sunday, November 19th, 2023. The event focused on entrepreneurship as a catalyst for socio-economic growth, emphasizing its importance to the national agenda. Moreover, this year’s theme “Entrepreneurs Thrive Here”; coincides with Governments emphatic drive to strengthen support for entrepreneurs through a number of publicly funded initiatives that give support and increased finance to these group of daring change makers.
Throughout the week of activities, several events were organized by different agents with the entrepreneurship eco-system to promote entrepreneurship and inspire individuals to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams. Throughout the week 13th-19th November 2023, the St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture collaborated with partners and sponsors to deliver a memorable and impactful Global Entrepreneurship Week.
The series of events culminated in an impressive Entrepreneur Showcase, which served as a platform to showcase the extraordinary talent and ingenuity of some of Saint Lucia's entrepreneurial community. This carefully curated showcase presented a diverse group of 20 individuals who showcased their innovative products and services from sectors such as Food& Beverage, Hair & Skin Care, Clothing & Textile, and Jewelry. The event was hosted at Harbor Club Hotel on Rodney Bay, where guests, hotel staff, and members of the general public were impressed by the entrepreneurs on display and engaged with them as they told their compelling stories of inspiration and motivation behind their businesses.
