From the 26th February to the 29th February ,2024, The St Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture hosted the French Territories Mutualized multi sectoral trade mission to St Lucia.

The St. Lucia Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture partnered with the Martinique and Guadeloupe Chambers of Commerce and Industry to facilitate the matchmaking with the local businesses and institutions.

The event was launched at the Alliance Française on February 26th with the delegation members, local businesses, authorities and Mr Francis Etienne, French Ambassador to St Lucia and the OECS. Mr. Brian Louisy, Executive Director of the SLCCIA, highlighted the importance of economical regional cooperation during his opening remarks. The closing ceremony took place at the French Ambassador residency, on February 29th.

Seventeen (17) businesses from Martinique and Guadeloupe made the trip to meet with the local businesses on island. Over a hundred and ten (110) business to business meetings took place at Coco Palm over two (2) days.

The event and its success were a testimony of our long-standing connections with our Caribbean neighbours, especially the different chambers of commerce of the region.

We will keep on working with our Caribbean partners to offer our membership and the local companies more opportunities to grow their businesses and exchange within their natural regional space.

We keep on working towards a greater Caribbean business community.
